Rubina was introduced in 1925 and was apparently produced for a relatively short period of time. Normally, this multi-colored glass will shade from red at each end to green and then to blue in the middle. Since the red and green colors we achieved by reheating, there will be considerable variation in the amount of each color. In some cases, excessive reheating caused the blue and green to disappear leaving the item completely red. In other cases, the item was reheated from only one end.
