Golden Showers was introduced in 1927. The yellow color is achieved by reheating in the Glory Hole. The effect can also be achieved by spraying Crystal Glass with Silver Oxide before reheating. It is often misnamed Goldenrod. See Gold Krystol color for correct usage of the name Goldenrod. |
