The exact production period of Aurora is not known but items seen in this color were common to the early to mid 1920s. Collectors have been calling this Blue 1 but the name "Aurora" has been recently confirmed from use in trade publications and original Cambridge invoices dated in 1924. Aurora is the lightest of two early blue colors produced in the 1920s. Aurora will show considerable florescence under blacklight. |
