Crown Tuscan was introduced in 1932 and continued to the closing of the Company in 1958. Due to the variation in color, several formulas may have been employed over the years. In 1935, Cambridge began marketing the Seashell line in this color and called it "Coral." Coral exhibited a bluish cast in thin sections of the item. After a few years, Cambridge dropped the Coral name and resorted to the Crown Tuscan name on all items. |
