Martha Washington Display Sign

This display sign measures about 11cm by 7.25cm. The surface is a shiny black paper with gold printing laminated to a cardboard backing. A triangular wood block on the back serves as a stand. No information has been found to date the usage of this sign. However, the format of "Martha Washington" is consistent with the format used in a specialty catalog insert issued between 1935 and 1940.
